About Bookmark Maestro
Why we built it
Bookmarks pile up faster than anyone can keep them tidy. After a few years of saving links, most people are left with hundreds of duplicates, dead pages, and folders they can no longer navigate. Chrome's built-in bookmark manager was never designed to clean that up — so we built Bookmark Maestro to do exactly that.
What it does
Bookmark Maestrois a Chrome extension for maintaining a bookmark collection: the Bookmark Doctor finds and removes duplicates, broken links, and empty folders in one guided pass; batch operations let you move, delete, or open dozens of bookmarks at once; and folder, flat, and side-panel views make it easy to reorganize without losing your place. It's free to start, with a Pro plan for power users who want batch editing, link-health testing, and selective import/export.
Privacy first
Your bookmarks are personal, so Bookmark Maestrodoes all of its work locally on your device — your bookmark collection is never uploaded to our servers. Two features talk to the network only when you run them: the link-health check contacts your bookmarked sites directly to test them, and export-with-favicons may fetch site icons from Google's favicon service (only the site's domain is sent). The only account data we hold is what's needed for sign-in and billing. Read the full Privacy Policy for the details.
Who's behind it
Bookmark Maestro is built and maintained by a small independent team that ships and supports the product directly — no ad networks, no data brokers. Have a question, a bug, or an idea? We read every message. Get in touch.
