Information We Collect
Bookmark Data
Our extension accesses and manages your Chrome bookmarks locally on your device. Your bookmark collection is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Network Requests Made by Features
Two features make network requests when you run them, and only then:
- Link health check — to test whether a bookmark still works, your browser sends a request directly to the bookmarked URL. The sites you check will see this request the same way they would if you visited them.
- Export with favicons — when a site's icon isn't available locally, the export may fetch it from Google's public favicon service. Only the domain of the bookmarked site (for example,
example.com) is sent to Google — never the full URL, title, or any other bookmark data.
In both cases the requests go from your browser to those third-party or bookmarked hosts; nothing is routed through or stored on our servers.
Account Information
If you subscribe to our Pro features, we collect only the necessary information for account management and subscription processing, including your email address and encrypted authentication data. This information is used solely for account verification and access to Pro features.
Extension Permissions
Our extension requires certain permissions to function properly, including access to bookmarks, tabs, and the ability to check link health. These permissions are used strictly for the extension's core functionality and no data is collected or transmitted except when explicitly initiated by you.

Data Storage and Security
Your bookmark data is stored and managed locally on your device through Chrome's bookmark system. For Pro users, we implement industry-standard security measures to protect your account information. All communication with our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols.

Cookies and Analytics
On our website we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. We load Google Analytics in Google Consent Mode with analytics storage denied until you make a choice.
We only enable analytics cookies if you select Accept on our cookie banner. If you select Decline(or ignore the banner), analytics cookies stay off.
